We are HUGE HUGE HUGE fans of Taylor and would love to be able to go to the front, but we'll be standing right at the back if we come only an hour before! Plus, I am extremely short! I have heard that by four hours before the concert starts, the line to enter the arena is all the way around the block! We obviously can't skip school or work, so do you think we will be okay? What is a truss rod tool? And other guitar questions? Ok, so I was thinking of buying myself a new acoustic guitar, and I found one on ebay. It said it came with this thing called a Truss rod tool. I read a few articles but really all I understood was it adjusts something on the neck, I'm not sure. Obviously, I'm very much a beginner in guitars, so if I decide to buy this guitar, should I even mess with that tool? Or is it so extremely dangerous for a novice like me that I should just store it away until I've had years worth of experience? And, my main question is, what the hell is it?! Also, since you're here and you probably know a lot about guitars, answer me two more questions: As a beginner with small hands, what's the best, fairly cheap, brand of acoustic guitar to buy? I've read good things about a baby taylor 3/4 acoustic, but I don't know, maybe there's a better one. And if I decide not to buy a guitar (because I already have one but I've read it's a pretty crappy model), what kind of strings should I get? I read that twelve gauge steel strings are best for beginners, but I just want to make sure. Thanks!

Which 3 books would you have taken? In 1960, George Pal the director made a movie for MGM called "The Time Machine." It starred Rod Taylor and Alan Young, not to be confused with the remake that was created in 2002. It was based on the novel by HG Wells. The original one was a GREAT movie! I had no desire to see the new one. Remakes suck. Anyway, just a little bit about the film: a young inventor from London 1899 decided to travel to the deep future in a time machine he invented. He travelled to the year 801702 A.D. In this strange future a primitive group of people called Eloi lived in a jungle paradise that was cultivated and set up by their evil underground masters, the Morlocks. The Morlocks were ugly, viscous ape-like people that bred the human-looking Eloi until they were teenagers and then took them to their underground caves where they ate them! In short, the evil Morlocks were cannibals! Anyway, the young time traveller managed to destroy the underground world of the Morlocks by setting fire to their combustible machines they operated below the Earth's surface! Their machines caused massive explosions killing most of the Morlocks, and he had saved a whole bunch of Eloi prisoners they hadn't eaten yet that they kept surrounded in a cave until the time was right. Anyway, sorry I'm making this long. Even though the Eloi were good guys, sadly they were uneducated children that the Morlocks considered to be no more than slaves. Well, when the time traveller returned to 1899, he told his friends of his discovery and they bawked and laughed at him, considering him crazy, all except for his best friend, a Welsh bloke named Filby. After his friends left, the time traveller decided to take his machine back to the future, but with him, he took 3 books to educate the now liberated Eloi people! Well, right at the close of the movie, the time traveller's housekeeper and Filby noticed 3 books missing from his library sheld. Filby joked: "which 3 books would you have taken?" While comical, this is a great opinion question. My question to all of you is: if you had to educate a whole culture of people, what 3 books would you take? This is interesting because so many people think in so many different ways which is fascinating to me that many people may have different opinions about what can be used to educate a society of people. My wife said she'd bring a book of art, literature, and science. I said literature, history, and world geography. I don't know. What 3 books would you take? P.S.-I realize this is long. If you're irritated by the length of this, DON'T COMPLAIN about the length in your post! Also, no smart ass answers! First of all I wish to thank those who gave me a link to buying a copy of the sci fi film "They Live", which came through the post this morning care of an ebay seller. So thank you to those who helped there. Now ide like to ask you all out there if you know of any other sci-fi and time travel films that you think I might enjoy. Ive seen The Time Machine, the original and superior version being the 1960 George Pal/Rod Taylor version in my opinion. Ive also seen War of the World's, again in my opinion the original 1960 version was vastly superior to the remake Tony Cruise version. Ive seen The Butterfly effect's 1 and 2. Ive seen The Jacket. Im not into special effects for the sake of "gut reaction" as is the case in many films today, I like a good story line. So I have a pretty short bob, the longer pieces in front don't even reach my shoulders, they go a couple inches past my chin. Week 7 help RB and WR? I have santana Moss, Rod Smith, and Bryant Johnson starting for week 7. I was thinking about putting in Welker(vs. GB) or T. Taylor(vikings vs. Seattle) in place of one or two of my WR's(im keeping in Moss. I also was wondering if I should keep in Erik Parker or replace him with Drew-Jones in the W/R spot. These are the best NBA free agents that i can think of who are currently playing in the D-League, some other minor league, overseas, or nowhere at all, hoping an NBA team will sign them. Also, im listing them in somewhat general order in regard to how much they'd help this season, and maybe next. Im thinking short-term, which makes sense since if any of these players get signed there's a good chance it'll be for a short-term contract, maybe for a season or two, or less. Note: I got this from a good friends blog, and it was made late season, some of the players might have moved on. I was to lazy to check.
