Where should I put the guides on a 9 foot long fly rod that has 7 pieces? It is a 6 weight rod.?

I need to know the spacing of the guides. Thanks!

1. Just spec it.
2. my husband, an avid fly fisherman, says that after the first piece, every 6 inches as it is such a long rod. good luck.
