How should I attach a jig to my spinning rod line?

Fresh water for Crappie, Blue Gill, Bass.

1. I double my line over about 4 inches, put it through the eye, spin it over itself and put the jig through the hole left in the end of the line
2. I recommend a palamar knot. This knot retains more of the line strength than all others, except a uni- knot, and it is easier to tie. Of course, if you want to retain maximum line strength, the uni- knot is worth learning to tie.
