What color for a spinnerbait does brook trout take in new jersey on a spinning rod?

- Not knowin' anything about Jersey, but I suggest a spinner not spinner bait because they're different and believe me I ain't tryin' ta' be a smart A _ s ; ). I usually go with Panther Martin quite a bit, along with Blue Fox spinners. Colors will vary dependin' on what Brookies are wantin' and the area. Best bet is ta' give a call to one of your local tackle shops and check with them...
- I prefer a Panther Martin spinner like FishSteelhead said. I like gold blades and dark bodies on cloudy days and in off colored /dingy water For clear water and sunny days I like silver blades and lighter colored bodies . That is what has worked best for me trout fishing with spinners.
- A company called Mepps makes a lot of trout spinners. I online shop with Bass Pro and they have tons of trout stuff. Happy fishin'. ☺ڶ
- just read a good article. Use silver for clear water, use gold for murky waters. trout think the silver looks like a minnow or shad. I gotta be honest with you, i fish in Nj with worms and catch more fish than anyone with a lure. good luck
