- First, open the bail then simply string the line though the rod guides. Finally, close the bail. You can get information on almost any outdoor activity at the link.
- Your question a little confusing .Spin cast is spinning .Go to your local fishing store and they will be happy to help you ,You dont want to put the line on backwards because the line will twist on you while you are fishing causing you great grief .I usually put my spool on the end of a rod tip through the spool holes and lay the rod tip accross the sink and turn the water on so the line gets wet while installing my line .
- The spinning reel has a 'bale'. That is the wire loop on the face of the reel which spins as you crank the reel handle. The bale winds your line onto the spool so thread your line under this bale, pushed to the side which has a small collar (a slight thickening of the bale) and out through all the eyes right to the tip of the rod. (Note here, if you clean the eyes well, you will be able to cast further and with less effort. This makes casting much more enjoyable). After this, we don't want the line to accidentally fall back down the eyes do we so tie onto the end of your line your swivel and perhaps your lure you intend to use. This should stop the line from slipping back through the eyes. If your rod is two pieces line up the two pieces together so the eyes will be lined up with each other on each half. Other notes...clean and oil your reel, don't push too hard on the two pieces as you put the rod together or it will be hard to take apart and put away. Good luck fishing Bj
