Spinning rod and reel?

Ok so i curently have a 6'6" berkley lightning rod with the abu garcia cardinal 400 series im wanting a new set up i was thinking about this 7 foot ugly stick with the abu garcia cardinal 800 any sugestions on this or what i should get?

1. i would go with the ugly stick very reliable and i heard that the Garcia cardinal 800 is a very good real so go with it
2. ugly stick is a good choice. Always balance your reel to your rod and make sure it fits your hand comfortable. It isn't just the choice of brands that make fishing fun.
