Best spinning rod and reel combo?

I really would like to know what spinning rod and reel combo casts the furthest?

1. The US Reels company claims that their reels cast further than most any other spinning reel. I have never tried any of their reels and they have had mixed reviews from various people. Best to go to http://www.basspro.com AND http://www.cabelas.com and read reel reviews. The best spinning reel brands are Shimano, Daiwa, Plfueger, Penn ( Metal Series SS). Hope this helps ya? 2. i would say 13 footer nitro spinning rod and a shimano 4000xl reel. 12 lb test line Andie mono of course.
3. Fisher_King mentioned reels by US. They say that their reels will cast the farthest because of the specially designed line spool. Not sure if your aware of it but, there are other reasons behind longer casts ie., pound test line (lighter = longer/farther casts), length of rod (longer rod = longer casts) etc.. 4. hey man it all depends on your technique the size of weight on the end of the line. i have seen some people take a cheep rod and cast it a country mile and i have seen people that think that the more expensive equipment that they have the better fishermen they will be and they can not hardly toss it 5 yards. the two spinners that i use mostly are an abu garcia and a phlugher spinner reels. say if i have a regular warm with a bullet weight i probably can toss it about 30 yards. with a good hard throw but there are my other spinners that i use for surf fishing and pier fishing i usually have about 4-6 ounces of weight and i can throw the rig about 60 yards. it really do sent depend on the brand but the person doing the casting. i hope that helps you a bit good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
