How do I install a curtain rod if the window is right next to an adjacent wall?

I have a window where there is no wall spacing on the top or to the right of the window to install a bracket. Is installing a curtain rod possible in this scenario or is my only option is installing blinds?

2. I would use a tension rod that would go on the inside of the window molding. I have a similar problem in my kitchen and I use the tension rods.
3. If the window has a frame around it, you will need to install the brackets on the frame itself but it probably won't look as finished. If the window is that close to the ceiling, you might want to just dress up the windows with decorative shades. Some really neat stuff is in the stores right now.
4. I suggest you take a pic of the window, especially the offending corner ... and stop by Lowe's or Home Depot ... the folks there can show you exactly how to install curtains.
5. try cuttign off the end of the wooden rod and it will fit into the wall
