It's not what they are designed for, but has anyone ever used a Micro Fly Rod/Reel at a UK Trout Fishery?
I have fallen in love with the Micro Rods/Reels at www.jaustinforbes/micro, but I am unsure if they will be fit for purpose on a commercial Trout Fishery. My local fishery is small enough to not worry about distance casting, however I don't know if they'll take the weight of a large stock trout at fisheries such as this. Does anyone have any thoughts/advice?

- I wouldn't risk it, the chances of a large stocked trout snapping you rod is very high, plus it would mean that it would eb in-humane on the fish because of the fact that you would have to play it so long because of the problem of snapping your rod, to be honest i think that an owned lake wouldn't allow such a light outfit to be used due to stressing the fish when hooked. If you want to fish light use a six weight rod with a full/very soft action.
