Can i fix a tension rod when i (accidentally) pulled out the spring?

I feel really silly, but I had no idea how to use a tension rod. So i pulled the screw out completely and then I took the spring out, so now it has no tension! Can i fix this??? i forgot where the spring and the screw go, is there a picture out there?
