What is the best fishing rod for an eight year old?

My little bro wants a bigger fishing rod than his little scooby doo one so which one is the best. P.S. he is 8

1. they make 6ft ugly stiks with button reels and ugly stiks are amazing poles
2. Go to W*mart and pick up one of their $14 rod and reel combos. They have baitcaster reels on them (push button), and will make him feel like he's usin' a big boy's rod without hurting your wallet too much.
3. 6 foot ugly stick with a zebco 33 reel (i have two 33's that are over 10 years old and they still work fine.)
4. zebco 33 combo set, my 3 kids have one each
5. I agree with eskimo. Walmart has cheap poles. Ugly stiks are actually very good fishing poles so it's not gunna break on you when you catch a minnow. Hope he has fun with his new pole.
6. zebco 33...still the spincast style, but lacking cartoons......if that isnt good enough thin spinning reel.
