How do you get a fishing rod at rune factory?

At rune factory it is really hard to get money and fishing is the easiest but how do you get a fishing rod then???

1. Simple. Stop playing Runescape and buy a real one.
2. You can buy a fishing rod from other players, or there is a shop in Port Sarim that sells them. You will also need bait for each fish you catch, men and women drop them when killed, and it is also sold by the same shop in Port Sarim. Fishing is a pretty good way of making money.
