- You can contact Shakespeare through their website here: http://www.shakespeare-fishing.com/service/warranty.shtml
- Go to their website, uglystick.com, and email them with the question. They will tell you what you need to do.
- There's a 7 year guarantee on all Ugly Stick fishing rods. Just take it back to the store you bought it. They will give you the information you need to exchange it or send it back to the manufacture.
- um..... refund?
- hey man, take that rod streight back to your local tackle shop and get another one. all the places that i have been to will take back the rods...no questions asked. that is around here anyways. i am in ga and where you are might be different but i doubt it. try taking it back. the ugly sticks have a great garantee so if the place that you bought it doen't take it back just try another bait and tackle shop. maybe they will take it back. if that doesn't work( it probably will though) get ahold of the maufacturer. i am really sure that they will help you out or atleast send you another on. i am sorry to hear about your rod. i just love my ugly sticks. i hope that you didn't have a bucket mouth of a life time on there. and if you did did you get it good luck and good fishin
- Go to a nearby sporting goods store and get a cardboard tube that will hold your rod. Go to the Shakespeare web site and get the address of their repair facility. I think it is in Colorado. Pack up your rod and send it with a letter to Shakespeare with any purchase details you may still have and ask them to fix it and return it. They will send you a new rod lickety split and you will be back in biz. They are really good about taking care of their customers. Good luck and have fun. 73 from the Fisherman
- First of all, how in the heck did you break it? The reason I asked is because mines looks jacked up and I could use a replacement (free if you know what I mean?) Anyways, here's the warranty info and all that jazz to get it replaced. ~ good luck catchin'. http://www.shakespeare-fishing.com/service/warranty.shtml ~OOPS, my bad HT, didn't see your post with the same link. Oh well, now there's 2. What can I do for a Klondike Bar? : )
- Depends on how you broke it, if it was due to bad manufacture then Shakespeare might replace it, if its due to you, such as closing it in the car door then they wont do anything, i don't think that ugly stik rods have a guarantee, some of the better rods in the range do but due to the low price i don't think that the ugly stik rods do, you can contact them and find out for your self. http://www.shakespeare-fishing.com/products/rods/ugly.shtml Just found out they have a 7 year warranty, contact them! http://www.shakespeare-fishing.com/contact.shtml
